User Roles & Permissions

Station70 supports role-based access controls. These roles determine what actions a user can take within your enterprise account.

Role Can Do Can't Do
Administrator Everything — create, update, and delete policies; request and approve backups; initiate and approve recoveries; create and delete users; change user permissions; edit account details
Member Create, update, and delete policies; request and approve backups; initiate and approve recoveries Manage users or edit account settings
Policy Manager Create, update, and delete policies Access recovery or backup functions; manage users
View Only View account settings and activity Initiate actions or make any changes

Choosing the Right Role

Assigning the right role helps minimize risk, enforce the principle of least privilege, and maintain a secure operational environment. Roles can be updated any time as responsibilities evolve within your organization.
