How to Change Your Policy

If your team changes — members added, removed, or roles shift — you'll likely need to update the policy tied to a backup. This can be done directly from your dashboard.

How to Update a Backup's Policy

  1. Go to the Backups page from the left-hand menu
  2. Select the backup you want to update
  3. On the right side of the screen, click Change Policy
  4. Choose one of two options:
    • Create a Policy — set up a brand-new policy for this backup
    • Change Policy — switch to a policy you've already created

Approval Required

Once you select or create a policy, the original policy must be satisfied before. Once all approvals are in, the new policy takes effect on the backup.
