Linking Your Wallet Provider

Linking your account takes a few minutes and pays off in three ways: better compliance reporting, faster recovery if you ever need it, and one less thing to maintain manually.

  • Attestation Reports — you'll receive reports showing whether you've passed your security check-ins and what assets are in your wallet, ready to share with auditors or regulators.
  • Faster recovery — Linking means your wallet provider passes Station70 an asset report containing your asset names, addresses, and derivation paths. Having this on hand and up to date means Station70 already has what it needs during a recovery, instead of tracking down asset details after the fact — this can save real time when it matters most.
  • Always up to date — Once linked, your asset report updates automatically any time you add a new asset to your account. No manual step required.
  • Utila accounts — Linking also means Station70 stores the JSON file needed to recover your account with Utila. See Recovering Your Utila Wallet for how this simplifies that process.
  1. Go to your Overview page in Station70
  2. Find the Account Linking section on the left side of the screen
  3. Click the red Unlinked icon to begin

From there, exact steps depend on your wallet provider, but generally you'll:

  1. Create an API user and name it Station70-api
  2. Select the appropriate role, as instructed on screen
  3. Either upload a file or copy your access token, depending on what's requested
  4. Submit the request with your wallet provider
  5. Copy the ID your wallet provider gives you back into Station70 on the connection screen to finish linking
